get real you still have 10 years till your MLC."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Ha, I remember this last year! Once you get there all is great again as it is another 10 years until you start worrying again.0

kids. with 100 post should keep their noses clean."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You're not even a grown up till you hit 30, you're entering your prime.0

Well I don't look old, every time I go into a pub or the supermarket to buy alcohol I get ID'd! I suppose that's one thing. People usually place me early - mid 20's
I'm just paranoid about being old. and feeing old, starting to lose fitness and I don't want to start getting wrinkles and going grey, losing my looks I think that's my real worry. Vain perhaps, but still its a concern.
And as far as it being another 10 years til I can have a MLC that would mean having to live til I'm 80!!! The stuff I do I will be lucky to make it past 40 so I think I should actually be having a 3/4 life crisis!!!! Does that warrant an even more extravagant purchase of something???Ride it like you stole it!0 -
nope. you cant buy that impreza or evo till your 40 and going grey i'm afraid lol.0
-
You are only as old as you feel. Or summat.
I look young for my age too, someone in the pub recently thought I was 19! Its a good thing!
When I turn into an old barstard I am going to enjoy being a grumpy sod and shaking my walking stick at people.0 -
dont worry it does not start for another 10 years. then the falls take a bit longer to get up from. the kids party for just that little bit too long.
But you dont stop doing it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Women don't peak sexually (apparently) until their mid 30s so you have that to look forward to!!!0

Hmm... 30 ay?
I can't say much as I'm only 20!! But I look (apparently  ) 28!!! Appears that I've had a hard life!
And like Benj, I was also the one buying the booze when we were 14ish. Ahhh, the memories...
It's only a number Miss_Bint!! If you thought you were 29 this year, you wouldnt worry about it! You can only be as old as you feel!
So get out and ride! Besides, it's proven that the older you get, your *ahem* stamina and endurance improve! (On the bike!!! And only to a point obviously).Boo-yah mofo
Sick to the power of rad
Fix it 'till it's broke0 -
Fu@k it - its only a birthday & makes no difference - its just part of the journey!
For my 30th Birthday 5 couples went up to York & hired a house. Cars were MR2, 911, TVR & Lotus. Now six years later if we all went back it would be estates & MPV's
All still the same people, just circumstances are different (plus we all own more bikes now)!0 -

28 myself and i'm rebelling again (last time was at 14), this time against what i am "suppose to do" being an "adult".
your as old as you feel and if you keep up the active life you'll feel young for a long time to come.
Age is just a number, if you've looked after yourself you're bound to age well. I look at some people i went to school with and they look 10+ years older than I.
As for the 3/4 life should i buy anything question, HELL YEAH, go out n buy yourself a Lib Tech Snowboard and gloat at all the younger kids that can't afford one!!! haha0 -
I dreaded turning 30 - I mean REALLY dreaded it!
But I didn't keel over. Just lost more hair, went a bit greyer (!) and seem to have slightly rickety joints but apart from that it's been fine. Never been fitter (training doesn't seem to get any harder as I imagined) and all is good at 33 (nearly 34!).
I think it's a good age - still young enough to be fully active yet usually with a few quid in the bank, making life a bit more comfortable and worry free unlike in those early 20s.0 -
You'll only be a day older than you are today, at least tthat's tha way I look atYou don't need eyes to see, you need vision0

I got asked for ID to buy a bottle whisky at the weekend.....
I asked him if he was kidding and said I am 31 years old....
he said it was company policy to ID anyone who he thought was under 25.....
smug mode on.....
...Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.
