Steve you were the one who was telling me not to have stickers and anyway i cant !! The strips on the top tube are also engrained into the frame and it would look stupid have gold decals overlayed ontop of the originals

I love the hardtail cheesy great spec mate the rims are tops for the pricing well durable . It cant be much lighter than mine though you stated tht yours was 21lbs + without pedals, mine is only 0.4 lbs more than 21lbs so what was the exact weight cause tht aint a whole hell of a differance m8 ?

Ha ha - it's around the same as yours give or take, I weighed it a while back on my mates scales, it came in 'just' over 21lb....

It's have to be one of those 'who will ever know' type issues... lol

Thanks Matt, been with me for 2 years now and I love it. it only gets 'aired' on sunny/good weather days - as it's a fecker to clean!!

It's treated almost like a road bike, only ever gets used on the road with slicks on, or VERY light XC with RRs on.

I use the Quake to get dirty and messy - it brings the child out in me!

My Stumpy doesn't get too much abuse now either - I did throw it up and down the muddiest of hills, into boggy terrain and all sorts and kept breaking stuff so looking after it a bit better now (having spent over £400 on new bits!).

    Mine's more like 23lbs though.

Bring me sunshine anyday and i would be out , shorts racing top and trainers, good music and a chance to soak up some rays mmmmmmmm

Im in SE london - not exactly known for its trails... lol

I have some great woodland near me, that has everything you could ask for though which is great, but I ride it so much it's become stale, and I know every inch of it, now the better weather is here, bikes are going in the back of the van and away I go.......
