I am up for this; to back in Fulham 12ish is good for me.

    To be candid:
    1. never been there and do not have GPS but can read a map
    2. I will bring my senior railcard so you spritely young things may race back to London with a good conscience.

Where/when to meet if above candour does not disconcert?

Sorry not been on this thread for a biit - I found someone, but you're welcome to join I'm sure :-) We're meeting at the usual KW meet point at 9am (Junction of Portsmouth Rd and Brighton Rd, Surbiton). Going at a nice pace to BH, about 30-40 miles.

Nah, I'm still waiting for the new KW kit to become available  8)

Yup, I guess it's time to get organised guys...
 Are we taking a direct route to BH via Epsom? If so does this mean no Hampton Court pick-up? Does anyone have a plan for a route once we've scaled the dizzy heights of BH? A couple mentioned turning back due to needing to be back by certain times so this'll need considering
I'm sure we can get a route sorted even if we play it by ear at the top of BH, although I might be a little disorientated coming in to the Surrey Hills from that direction! I could probably work something out though.

I'm on a mission to give Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs a run for his money now so I'm up for a biggy!   :P

Come on guys, who's riding this weekend?? I need to get a plan sorted cos I want to get some good mileage in this weekend! :?

Berns12 & Felgen seem to want / need to do something fairly short IIRC? And Myk-ee & Felgen probably won't make the 9am start, right?

Seems to be quite a list of definite no's too!:

    Phips
    Fuji Mackers
    thebongolian
    homercles
    lucyintheskywithdiamonds
    drewfromrisca
    Art Vandelay

    Crikey!

If there's nobody up for a decent spin I might just take it upon myself to do a 'Capital to Coast to Capital' and do an RP to Worthing and back...

Rich, if you're doing a capital to coast and back I would be well up for that, I've been meaning to do something like that for a while.

Yes, I wont make that start time. I might see about trying to meet up with myk-ee or just do my own thing. All the best riders train solo, apparently 8) (either that or they have no friends)

I'm really tempted, but at the same time I don't wanna kill myself as I have 4 days riding in the Lake District next weekend...

    Decisions decisions... :?

    Harsh!

I'm yet to manage a 100 miler so what's the point in doing 14 unnecessary miles beforehand if I can just crack on with the distance I really need to do?!
