and no, she won't be coming to Swinley before you ask :P
keep getting funny looks as the white is reaaaaallly bright against the black0 -
Do the right thing....find a white saddle.
Sweeeeeet ride though, just the sorta thing I adore.0 -
decided against a proper white saddle in the end, Figured it'd get too dirty and i'd feel i'd wasted money
Think a white seat clamp would look good tho
Not sure what the tyres are if i'm honest. Just had them lying around so i've stuck them on for the time being. Look pretty sweet too
cheers tho mate, cant wait till next weekend when I get to abuse it0 -
Right ok...compromise with me here Ben...
This sorta thing?
Im only messin...0 -
got similar to that on my GT actually! really not very comfortable tho (for me anyways).
The spank saddles were the only ones that looked half decent and are quite long and wide near the front.
If i'm honest, I did think the saddle was a bit whiter than that, was kinda annoyed when I first got it.... but its bloody comfy0 -
thats a seriously nice bike how much did it cost you all together?Dont you just love Marin's...i sleep with mine0
-
ummmm... probably £1200 - £1300...and i've had looooooads of discounts!! gonna work it out properly in a bit
Putting some gears on soon I think, I enjoyed the SS, but my knee didn't that'll probably be another £200 as i'll be wanting a white e-13 bash0 -
Can't you use the bash you've already got and just use an e13 LS1 aswell

nuh
the guy I ride with has the same cranks + bash, he bought one of those but it wasn't compatible with the saint bash apparently0 -
Meh, will look pretty good if you get it in whiteNow that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10
-
yea, I could get the taco, as it has the small bash underneath, but I'd prefer a full bash...
although... I can only find the clear full bash so a taco could be better0 -
Does the NS have ISCG or ISCG 05 mounts? Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10
-
think its ISCG... got another thread going trying to figure it out
pretty sure ISCG tho.0 -
yeah saw that after posting, if so, why not get this,

it doesn't have a chain guide on the top... need one to stop he chain coming off0
-
oh no...maybe it does... can't tell from the pic!
Doesn't come up on this tho.. http://www.e13components.com/support_guide_picker.html is it an older one?!0 -
HHMMM... This is a pickle of a peach of a problem,
This looks good though,

nah, I think the idea of the taco is that you don't need a full bash.... it has the "taco" bash underneath.
Looking closer tho... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=18537 that one will work
Just you cant see the chain guide behind the bash0 -
how much were your wheels mate? I have a feeling they'd look awesome on mine too The best white ones i've seen so far are the expensive DT Swiss ones which although lovely, 700 quid for a set dictates a probable 'no' :shock:Start Weight 18st 13lbs March 2009
17st 10lbs August 2009
17st 4lbs October 2009
15st 12lbs December 2010
Final planned weight 12st 7lbs0 -

This just arrived this morning...
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=18537
I got it for my NS Surge build in the green colour (just because its £20 cheaper than the white one).
Looks like we will have very similar bikes :-) ...Hoping mine will be built by April, will get photos as soon as its finished (although I'll be running a spare rear wheel as I havent' bought the one I want yet!)0 -
aye, gonna get theat one, but biting the bullet for the white one ... how sea foam green can be a "special colour" is beyond me
the bike is awesome btw, takes lots and lots of abuse0 -
sweet ride!!!
seems like they took of the gussets on the 09 ver...
0 -
aye, different tubing techniques and frame build = more strength, so no need for the extra weight of the gussets0
-
very nice looking bike. definitely need some more white at the back to 'balance' it out a bit though!0
