Ahhh the ROHLOFF Rider, I've spoken to you before in the forest.

Riding around 1pm myself, undecided on Wyre or Clent though after the rain earlier!!
  • For anyone who's interested, here's today's 24km route on google earth from my Garmin 305.
I am a mountain biking god.
    Unfortunately, my bike's an atheist.

A good ride today, enjoyed the new trail and some of the old stuff that I have not done for a long time...

Good trails and weather, sorry had to bail out at the end, the inside under my arm was starting to hurt, bruises are coming out nicely ! :o

The new bike is a lot more lively and quicker than the old kona, hence going over the bars towards the end !

Cheers guys.....try and sort out a mid week ride if the weather holds up...

Nice Track Log, similar route to what we did I guess Thursday with the Garlic and maybe the Caravan and still only 15miles!!

Should be out Thursday, Mounty if your around could sort out a day ride in the week and I'll get Yeti or something ??

Just a nice big bruise coming out....I was more concerned about my new bike ! :D

Still with a HT Dylan, almost went FS  ......bought a Stumpjumper, nice and light compared to my old kona.

To be honest it was my first ride out on it.....my left SPD wasn't quite set up correctly and my foot slipped off the pedal and it threw my body/weight forwards and over I went.....I think one of the other lads came off his bike in the same place....

Thursday is free at the moment, so we will have to sort something out....could be riding Weds night too....got to squeeze an extra ride or two in, off to Devon on Friday with the GF and no bikes allowed !

Gone Poncy rather than hardcore Kona then Mounty :)

I need to get more rides in to get rid of my ever expanding tummy, but still ill and flake out easily, but a few more days hopefully!!

No riding allowed, in Devon she's got to go dude :)

Cheeky sod ! Still got my kona for the more hardcore stuff, just wanted something quick and light to keep building up the mileage and fitness......

Although.. I am getting close to going FS......may be next year.....

To be fair I think this is the first break/holiday we have had without the bike in nearly 5 years...so she has been very tolerant !

Planning on riding mortimer this saturday afternoon if anyone fancies joining me! Sean you can get a lift if needs be. Me and my 3 mates are definitely going, (as its supposedly goona be a nice day) its gonna be up from the start for about 1/2 hour, then 1/2 hour down/flat with a 5 min fire road section in the middle, then up again for 1/2 hour and down, either a really steep gnarly section or a slightly more fast flowy section, then do the end of the first fun bit again, about 2 hours all in, (can add more on if needs be) plus 45mins travel each way from kiddy.

Im riding chicksands sunday so wont be available hence the sat ride.

    Dyl,

Gonna ride the Wyre tonight, going to take advantage of the good conditions, theres a bit more of interest than clent too, will leave clent till the wyre's not so good to ride!

Planning on doing the middle route down to the fire road, the one that goes through that big dip that you used to beable to ride over easyish!, then behind the bungalow, garlic, 45 and caravan!

7:30 at the duke for those who are up for it!
