So what do you do with your bike when you get it to school?

Does your school have two entrances by any chance? or perhaps a playing field that can be accessed from a different direction, possibility of putting bike sheds there?
    "Impressive break"

BTW Damage36, How did you get on with your mudguards?

Ah well, I've gone for some carbon race blades. I'll either send back my chromoplastics or save them for a cheapo frame in a years time to commute around uni (assuming hopefully that I get accepted). I had a little debate about black blades or carbon look and figured I'm a vain moron, so went for the carbon.

I assume everyone ignore my dominatrix nonsense on account of it being a little NSFW. That or I'm just unfunny again.

Linsen, does your school run cycle proficiency schemes?

Some teachers are known to work for 6 hours a day for five whole weeks before getting a week off.

and she's 'only' a peri teacher!

On the upside, you can p*ss off on your bike and she won't mind!

I never do a whole 6 hours in one day
To answer the above questions ...

    No cycling proficiency scheme

I have begun the doubtless decade-long battle for cycle storage. I have mentioned cycle lockers (and the possibility of putting a few on a parking-space!)

At the mo I lock my bike inside the storage cupboard in the classroom. If I was the only teacher in there day in day out I would put two big hooks on the wall and display it....

Needless to say I can't cycle in the wet yet (not only is storage an issue, it makes my long frilly skirt all soggy at the bottom)
Emerging from under a big black cloud. All help welcome

Good god, I never knew you were a fair weather cyclist.

In that case you most certainly can ride Frank all year round, except for the 6 months it rains.
