Ah, ich verstehe, elfenbein, nicht elfen bein.

And who said germans don't have a great sense of humour.
I must go back there some day, I spent 4 months living and working in Essen, an absolute armpit of a place, there must be nicer bits.

We have up to 7 in our house at any one time. Shed's too far down the garden, and whilst I can always be bothered to go for a ride, I can't always be bothered to walk to the end of the garden :D

    Here's Gladys too....

    Gladys looks very sturdy!

7 - awesome, my other half is a bit annoyed about 3 (probably soon to be 4) in the house, but once I have the garage watertight they will 'probably' go out there, but maybe not all of them - the total bike count is 8 at present, but maybe 9 by the end of the week, or even tomorrow.

Gladys is the biggest heap of crap ever but I am very attached. I had it as a student and it has resisted bike-napping on many occasions (due to the rather distinctive paintjob). It slows me down for riding with the children

I used to moan about bikes in the house before I became a cycle nutter myself.....

I've actually just realised that Damage36 is in fact a Vogon.

This is a worrying development. Can Vogons cycle?

    This is the evidence:

Oh freddled gruntbuggley, thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee
Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles, or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!

    You see?

We have a Cycling Vogon in our midst.

Well you lot wanted off topic... beat that :P
