    I've hit 51mph coming down the horseshoe pass into llangollen. Spinning out on the race bike, fully tucked. faster than i would in the car!

    51mph down from Wingreen towards Ludwell (Nr Shaftesbury, Dorset), you just have to be brave as there is a left hand bend half way down. Take that at about 40 then peddle like a loon!

    Most i managed coming down from a flyover was 45mph pedalling like crazy

    My top speed is 39.7mph but could def had gone quicker but I didn't know the road. It's definately a buzz getting the speed up....

    As it stands mine is 36.4mph. Thinks I could squeeze a little bit more out of it but that's plenty for now with this weather.

    I've done 43mph twice on mountain bikes (on the road). It was rather scary both times.
