How, exactly, are you supposed to try them on?
One at a time?
How are you supposed to try them with shorts to see what they're like?
try two pairs? one for each leg?www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Take two pairs?0

Sigh, they are connected. If you try one leg the other warmer is left crumpled up inside your bibshorts making determining their comfort and fit impossible.
The Assos ones come unconnected and are easy to put back into their packaging. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

4 people in my office can't work out how to take a snapshot of a PDF and copy into a table in word to create a label sheet.
FFS - these aren't unintelligent people - or so I thought - their first thought must be "Don't know how to do this, ask IT" ... they'll be asking how to change the toilet roll next.
and breath.
That's the source we've been given - I suppose we could have the indesign file - but as we don't have indesign or any other application to open them it'd be pretty daft ...0 -

I have a spesh tricross in 56 and am 5'11" .... my only issue is the toe overlap occasionally trips me up .... I like the small cockpit though as a single speed Cyclocross its easier to be able to yank the bike around.
the giant hower was massive and it made me sad
Fair enough - I use(d) mine mainly for commuting on the road - so not much to bother about - although yes - the toe overlap can be annoying - I'd forgotten that!0 -

Yes, sounds familiar. How some people (actually quite a lot) can progress in a company to a high salary level and to be perfectly frank , be quite retarded when t comes to basic IT tasks.. 'tis a puzzle.. n it aint... just lazy twats who think that getting to grips with the basic tools of modern working is beneath them. My 'sighing' a lot probably put paid to my own progression in a local 'thrusting' company... oh I dont think some of them knew what toilet paper was for either.... apart from stuffing 230 sheets of it down the pan to cover up their cretinous output.0 -

Ordered new outer chainring from Tredz, just got notified it is actually not in stock, although advertised as such. And now I have to wait for them to source one from the supplier. Not pleased. :x
If it wasn't for the 10 quid off voucher I have for them, I would have cancelled straight away.0 -

Which then negates your ability to return them as the barcode label is attached to the plastic string. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Nah, you'll be fine. Just cut the plastic string and include the barcode label with the return.0

Fortunately, they fit. Very good actually. The thermoflex ones. May well add the full length warmers as well.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed the increase in the occurrence of potholes on my main route into the nearest town. I'm certain that in January they weren't there. Whatever the cause it'll need a lot of reporting to get the council to fix!
BTW when that road became a ratrun too avoid Lancaster when tree Heysham link road was being built there was a little bit of road damage from the large number of large trucks going along that narrow a-road.Lately the damage has become much worse without the same traffic.0 -
Rant #2
Hedge cutting. What a mess they've made of the road! Debris from hedges both sides of the road meet in the middle.
Is there a legal requirement to tidy up afterwards? Is the council responsible? This is serious puncture risk. Glad I'm running marathon pluses. I'll be amazed if the thorns get through them.0 -

The hedge cutting farmery b***ard has a duty of care to clear up (as he does for mud on the road) but the council will be too hard pressed to enforce it (or by the time they come out to look, it'll be 3 months too late)0 -
bendertherobot wrote:Tredz in not in stock shocker.........I am sorry that you have found this experience frustrating however the item at the time of your order stated available dispatch within 2-5 working days this means available from our suppliers, items that are in stock state in stock dispatch within 1-2 working days.
And where exactly is the disclosure of that on their website? At least they bothered to respond on Sunday, so kudos for that.0 -

I thought it was the council doing it tbf, but its like they use a wood chipper to cut the hedges with now, theres so much damage to the hedge plus all the detritus it leaves behind. was going to rant about it myself as I felt I had to ride a foot further to the right just to avoid the worst of it, and you are still staring at the tyres expecting any moment to hear a tell tale hiss.0 -
Rant at self.
When wondering why a garmin isn't showing cadence, don't spend about half an hour trying to check magnets alignment etc, then going away to find a replacement battery, replacing it, wondering what's still wrong as it's still not working, without checking the selected profile on the Garmin unit.
DohIntent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.
Bike 1 (Broken) - Bike 2(Borked) - Bike 3(broken spokes) - Bike 4( Needs Work) - Bike 5 (in bits) - Bike 6* ...0 -

Been there, done that.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Castelli Gabba2 sizing. Ordered another from Merlin on Friday after checking the size of the one I already have so ordered the same size. The new one arrived today and it was a lot tighter so it's going back and a size up ordered to replace it.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Grrr....
Bike has been knocked over again. I'm pretty sure it's whoever has taken to parking their CTW scheme Ridgeback next to mine - they don't appear to even be able to prop their own bike up against the wall properly. Security have been useless - apparently, the CCTV doesn't cover the area.
I've left a note on the wall next to my bike. Hope it doesn't sound too unreasonable:
'Please be careful of my bike!
Over the last 2 weeks (Monday 6th March, and Friday 24th February), my Carlton Flyer bike (that I leave in front of here, as I can’t put it on the wall racks) has been knocked over twice.
This has caused significant damage to my Brooks leather saddle, has broken a rear wheel wingnut (which has had to be replaced by track nuts), and has left a nasty scuff in my bar tape and brake levers.
Every time damage is caused, it costs me time and money to fix things. It’s not particularly pleasant to find it with the saddle at a 45 degree angle, the above damage, and no note of apology or explanation.
I am very much hoping that it won’t happen again. If whoever did do it wished to get in touch, it would be most appreciated.

Biblical rainstorm last night and had a roofers van try to take me out as he swerved left into a cycle lane to undertake a right turning at the last minute saw me at the last minute but had to body swerve his wing mirror.
Then a black Audi decides he doesn't want me to into the right filter lane to a traffic light on a duel lane exit from roundabout. What he would have done if my right arm signal had meant i was going round the roundabout who knows ! Finally i get into the lane so he undertakes to get in front and nearly has an accident because hes too busy telling me something and not looking where hes going.
The last few weeks are starting to feel like the run up to my accident when a car pulled out on me before i changes route have so many drivers all been made incompetent at the same time.0 -
Undo his quick release? That seems to be the game at my place. I have been checking mine before leaving the office since my rear wheel fell out while lifting it to shift into a smaller gear at lights a couple of weeks ago. Last night the rear qr had been nearly fully undone and reclosed. I have asked security to check CCTV.
Can qrs undo themselves? I do them up pretty tight - it's an effort to undo the lever.
I would imagine it's a sacking offence if we can get the fcuker on camera.0 -
