in that case there is no reduction in braking surface.if you're not crashing, you're not trying.0

Glad we got that sorted. Do you think pad wear will be accelerated?

but, as you previously mentioned ,the rotor is just too thick for the caliper. idealy , if i were you i'd go back to the stock rotors, sell the hope ones or take them back.if you're not crashing, you're not trying.0

Im going into the shop 2day and am gonna ask about different ones, but I'm most probably not gonna keep these ones cos they rub so much its just silly. Im going to have a look at the thinner Hope ones, and if not probably go back to stock.

no, pad wear should'nt be affected, as long as the pads dont conact the spokes or the rivets of the rotor, and they only contact the part they are meant to.if you're not crashing, you're not trying.0

yes they only touch the bit theyre supposed to0

as i say i prefer the stock ones any way ,i have found they offer greater performance and diisapate heat better. i have just bought a new pair of the hayes v8 (203mm) rotors as my old ones wavey a2z used to seem to eat my pads, and got very hot , very quicklyif you're not crashing, you're not trying.0

as they only touch the part they are supposed to , and you prefer the floating hope ones, i don't see why you shouldn't go for the thinner rotors, they sold work perfectly.if you're not crashing, you're not trying.0

I do prefer the look of the floating ones over the normal Mudcutter-style ones Ive got, and theyre bigger so should be better at stopping me.
Cheers for all youre help
