    Travis - not at all.
Cost has nothing to do with it.

If I needed to spend £4k on a bike, I would.

The whole "can't afford it" thing REALLY gets on my nerves.

a lot of people might not want to spend a lot of money on bikes because they might ot be able to afford other important things for living ect. so you might spend money on bikes but other people would rather just enjoy a ride on there bike that doesn't cost £10,000 - it's still a bike it's still the same trail just not with rear suspension.

  • Yup Travis, I agree that out of the saddle over tech rocks does get tiring. V. similar terrain around here.

Kinesis Maxlight Xc Pro II with the carbon seat stays keeps making me stroke it in my LBS. V. light, apparently comfortable but without losing that squirt and go feeling of a hardtail and it looks lurvely. Just check out the Kinesis owners section on their website - niiiiice. 8)

Now, where can i get my hands on £400 or so?
I hate it when people say David Beckham's stupid...its not like anyone ever says: 'Stephen Hawking - he's s**t at football.' Paul Calf
