Clothing and footwear bargains on www.cyclewear.nl. Just bought a pair of bib tights, waterproof and windproof, coolmax system for €49.95 approx£35.00 Had them on today for the first time, brilliant and really waterproof. Also overshoes for €20, approx £16. Agu cycling shirts also €20. All of the above in various sizes. Have done quite a lot of business with them over the years and they are very good. anything bought in america, like my izumi winter fleecey jacket thing, izumi gloves, nike jersey. all for about 8 pence due to the dollar not being worth the paper its printed on.

I found this to be a good bargain.

Went halfords after the plate connecting the rear gear mesh for my roadie snapped.

They replaced this part (worth about 15 quid - but they had it spare so it was FREE!), New chain, new cogs for the rear gear mesh (they snapped), new brake cables and a considerably good bike service (unusual I know, I knew the person behind the counter through, maybe he took his time for me ) - All for a total of £20.

If you ask me, THAT is a bargain, and would have expected to pay atleast double that at the other LBS in the area.

Nah, the Virtuoso was only ever meant for commuting and I wasn't meant to get interested in cycling. But it happened. I'm only working for another 5 months before I'm back at uni, so the virtuoso will probably become a dedicated winter bike.

Im guessing that should have been rear gear mech? lol.

The bit next to your rear gears that moves when you change gear and causes the chain to jump to the next cog.

I got some bargains off Edinburgh Bike Co-op sale (online). Orca Tri suit £30 (half price). Orca swim hat for £1.50 and shimano RT30 shoes for £30 (half price). Although they're out of stock with the shoes at the moment. Waiting to see if they get any more in.

A practical bargain - that 3m scotchlite reflective tape - £5 approx for a metre - useful for putting around certain parts of your bike.

At Decathlon lakeside most of the road bikes were reduced, kicking off with the sport with sora double 8 speed double groupset down to £144 from £170, fantastic value if you need a winter training bike, the campag xeno triple model down from £270 to £199, the model up with carbon forks and 10 speed mirage down to £325 and the cycle cross model reduced to £425. A carbon bike with full ultegra and top end shimano wheels half price at £700. Poor selection of winter clothing though which was why I went there.

Well not really, 100 quid for a long sleeve top? Rapha hit a reasonable price when they do their half price sales imo.
