Its not really as simple as that though walker and you seem like you know that. Truly great players have it all.
but a very skilful player with increased endurance due to magic lotions and potions could become a truly great player
'coughs' Maradona 'coughs

I've seen some bullshee written on this forum, but that is without doubt the greatest load of nonsense I've come across.
The continuing dislike of Maradona from the English is pathetic in the extreme. Maradona is the greatest player ever to grace the game.
Dope had nothing to do with it.

Agree completely , Maradona basically used cocaine and it wasn't a performance enhancing drug . He's the best player I've ever seen .

You guys reckon that Cocaine ain't a performance enhancing drug?
or are you saying that he only used it recreationally?
i think Maradona probably was the best player about for quite a while, but he was banned for cocaine use (well documented) which is widely known to be a stimulant. Do you both know he wasn't snorting away before games?

Cocaine would be quite good for snooker. Excellent for poker.
Not football, though.0 -
So one of the German coaching staff suggests that drug abuse was quite extensive in the Bundesleaga in the 1990s - so what's changed? Apart from a whole lot more money, have the players and clubs suddenly become more principled? I was also talking to someone today who had heard that players are using ecstacy during matches too! I can't see why players wouldn't want to use stimulants these days either.0

Whoever told you players are using ecstacy during matches is a fool of the highest order.0

I tell you what - take a pill and then go for a kickabout with your mates or even bike ride.
Let me know how you get on.0 -

He tested positive for ephedrine at the 1994 World Cup - and that is a PEDTwitter: @RichN950 -
Ephedrine maybe, but anyone who thinks that Cocaine or Ecstasy are nothing but stimulants has clearly never tried them. No doubt that's a good thing, but I would be amazed if there would be any benefits in a footballer taking either. They would be more likely talking rubbish to the linesman than concentrating on the ball. But then I guess you could say they do that anyway.0

You write in riddles - I'm tiring of your crap!! Say something constructive or not at all.
I put what I did to be intended to be tongue in cheek - just missed out the smilie which I didn't think was required. For the record, whilst they may be used by one or two individuals and even clubs, I don't think performance enhancing drugs are endemic within football to the same extent as they are within cycling. Though if you had read this thread (and other similar ones) you'd have known this.
