Not bothered. She can do what she wants once she's no longer in office.

The people heading over to support Harris were mostly staff and activists, not sitting MPs. Truss is still very much active in the Conservative Party (with some support) despite what some might wish.

I imagine that can only encourage Puerto Ricans to vote for Trump. After all, I'm sure they'll find it hilarious.

It'll be interesting to see if the MSG event moves the dial at all, but alienating Hispanics, Muslims, blacks and Jews seems like quite a bold move, along with echoing, well, erm, Hitler.

I wonder if the Native Americans should pontificate that "America is for Americans and Americans only"?
WASPs would be upset at having to return "home".
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

As pointed out Hinchcliffe is a Comedian to be fair.
The Department of efficiency which Musk will be involved with is a good idea in terms of Government deregulation and balancing the books. It ain't going to be great as a vote winner in my mind though, without Google cheating I would have thought a good chuck of people directly/indirectly are employed by the state, now, would you vote republican knowing your job could be on the line if they get in?

"Department of Efficiency"
Wow.
That is some premium grade idiot bait.

How will the efficiency of this department be measured?

It's a reasonable sentiment depending on your view of what constitutes an American... or a German.

Cheating, it's around 14%.
Would you vote republican if your other half is employed by the state?

Trump's campaign has made a significant attempt to court black and Hispanic male voters in particular. They think the culture wars stuff and the whole toxic masculinity BS appeals to them.
Biden's support for Israel has definitely alienated some Muslim voters. There was a bit on Newsnight about it last week, with some turning to Trump just as a protest vote. I can understand their unhappiness with Biden but to actually vote Trump when he has spouted Islamophobic crap on plenty of occasions in the past seems a poor choice to me.

How efficiently it can divert funds to private sector operations like spacex.

Not sure it sounds efficient

Harris is going to win this at a canter

She is 2.6 on Betfair, so there's an opportunity for you to make a profit based on that confidence.

Yup! You should put your money where your mouth is and make a profit.
All experts say it is a Trump win with the Electoral College, which is what counts in the end.

I don't make predictions for money.
Just glory

Unfortunately your potential glory is based on a nervous stumbling crackle.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean.

Glory potential nada.

Apparently laughing is disqualifying from being POTUS, unlike rape, conspiring with the Ruskies, etc.

I just think it's a real shame the US doesn't have better presidential candidates. Trump is 78 and Kamal doesn't instil confidence.

By any measure she's hugely accomplished.
Is her reluctance to make bold and entirely false promises confusing you into thinking she can't deliver what the other guy says he can?

Interesting but again depressing Panorama programme on Trump last night.
Unless he wins, he will not accept the result, and you can expect violence on the street.
If he does win, he win bring in Project 25, which will harm US deomocracy even further.

....on the other hand, I just don't like her laugh.

Not to mention Trump's toddle-level grasp of international trade and tariffs.

Thanks for sharing the articles. He will pick up a bit of support but I am not convinced when it comes to voting that he is going to get anything approaching a significant turnout amongst minority groups.
Interesting to listen to the latest Newsagents podcast where they were saying that Trump obviously has a massive social media presence in the campaign, but their ground game in swing states amongst black and Hispanic voters is non existent. Whereas the Dems have a huge number of grassroots volunteers who will literally chaperone people to voting stations.
