According to Alastair Cooke, it's a belter and it's just the overheads making it tricky. The forecast tomorrow looks a lot brighter than today, which hopefully bodes well (I am too cricket-superstitious to add any more comment than that 😂)

Not been too bad a day for England. Stunning debut from Atkinson, some decent batting from Crawley and Pope and some old guy called Anderson took a wicket.

Most of them have never played in England before and had one 3-day warmup game before this match. I can't precis the whole thing but Brathwaite and their assistant coach Jimmy Adams think there's reasons to be positive and they should get better through the tour. And then Vaughan decrying the status of Test cricket at the moment.
