Lovely spot to have a house, away from the bustle of Dartmouth itself.

Two things gave me a chuckle this evening. Firstly, this way of dealing with trolls:

Secondly, working my way through Cheers as background to trumpet practice, in Season 9, and Frasier's son's first word... I didn't see this coming. Even if it is dated, there's some good writing and directing packed into these two minutes.

Looked it up and I can't see a type of lettuce called puerile, I think it was an Iceberg.

Even if she really as thick as she seems, you might have thought that there might have been a slight realisation that saying you don't think a joke about you is funny only makes it funnier and gives it more legs.

As it is, it only reinforces that idea that she really is both stupid and unable to see the world from any perspective other than her own humourless and self-aggrandising ego.

Will almost certainly trigger The Star. They’ll happily get more milage out of it 😄

Finally finding the zip-on legs of 'convertible shorts' in the top pocket of a rucksack I only use once in a while... I'd been missing them for a couple of months.

In all the madness of the current anti cycling culture wars, every time I hear on the radio someone saying that only the very best can maintain 20mph on a bike for more than a few seconds, it gives me a little boost.

Today's slightly underwhelming inflation news just make my French roof replacement a bit cheaper. Not expecting the bump to hold very long though, so sent over a tranche... oiseaux dans la main, and all that.

Really trivial - I had a night of dreams about losing things, because yesterday I couldn't find one set of my keys, though I knew they were in the house somewhere (but couldn't find them) - this morning, on taking my bike helmet off the hook, they went jangling to the floor. Hopefully tonight's brief slumber (off before dawn to get to the airport at sparrows' fart time) won't be troubled by similar dreams.

I hate losing things, but am very good at it. Idiot.
