Was reading this morning that Reform are 80% funded by Richard Tice. Always a good idea to have a political party bankrolled by one individual! I suspect they aren't going to be as big a threat to the Tories at a GE as people expect. It looks like UKIP MKII, I reckon Farage will spend the next few months dangling the threat of standing as an MP as usual.

No, they'd put it in a tunnel to avoid Tory heartlands.

Sorry, Dan Neidle again, on Zahawi. But could be fun, as he's accusing Zahawi of lying in his interview with Kuenssberg.

Meh, whilst they didn't win seats, UKIP achieved their aims. I think there's a risk that reform will still achieve stuff, even without seats.
Although what this stuff is, isn't necessary clear.

OK, in the right thread, I'm sure it's any easy one for @Stevo_666 to answer: should these Tory MPs answer the repeated questions put to them by the press? Obviously, if they are innocent, they will be happy to.

I think they should be as open with the press as 'honest' Ange has been 🙂

I look forward to your relentless and equal-handed quest for openness in all matters of tax disclosures to the press, and that you'll assume they are hiding something if they don't.

Then all is well. Everyone can shut tf up about this ancient nonsense.

He's saying he would have gone to a meeting of Labour mayors with the leader of the opposition?

So you’re happy with her response then?

Good result on the vote to exclude MPs arrested for serious offences from the Palace of Westminster. Beggars belief that it was actually opposed by the government.
Trying to think of absolutely any other workplace that would consider having someone in on Monday after they'd been arrested for a serious sexual offence the week before.

Given that most others on here are too busy spouting leftie bile to press for answers about the deputy Labour leader's alleged wrongdoings, I feel I need to step in and restore a bit of balance.

My desire to see them tell all to the press is hampered only by honest Ange's leftie hypocrisy.

6324 posts on £1500 of disputed tax doesn't really work though, especially if you can't bring yourself to recognise far more egregious acts from 'your team' or apply the same terms for evidence: it looks more like obsession and hypocrisy than balance.
I'm not sure that even the Telegraph is convinced, given that yesterday's Rayner headline has already disappeared from the website front page entirely.

Feel free to question Rayners honesty then...

Oh, and BTW, "most others on here are too busy spouting leftie bile" could do with some citations, if that's a general accusation.

Have a read of this thread when you have time 🙂

Crticism of corruption and incompetence in this government isn't leftie bile. If you're going to make accusations, it's up to you to bring the evidence (as you frequently ask others to do). I think there's only one forum member who tars Tories with an insulting hashtag... that's a long way from "most others".

Quite happy to wait for the police to finish their second investigation, as they have more evidence then you or me. But we've been here before, and you know that already.

I think you confuse leftie bile with being against the current government. Suspect a few posters are right leaning but have just given up being apologists for this lot.

You're a leftie so no surprise that you said that.

I guess if there was no case to answer they wouldn't still be investigating, or indeed arranging to interview Rayner under caution.

Can you keep this to the leftie-bashing thread, please, if you're really determined to carry on tilting at windmills? This is the thread for highlighting Tory corruption, tax-dodging, and general world-beating incompetence.

Think the correct terminology is 'rightwing bile thread' 🤣.

Ahem. 'Insulting' hashtag or reality? For instance, courtesy of a link to that leftiebollox spouting SkyNews, here's the list of #toryscum MPs suspended so far during HiRiskAnus' tenure as PM.

Sure thing, I recognise that this is the sad socialist quarantine thread 😄

Give them their due, this is proper LOL funny. You don't need lefite comedians when Tories do such a good job themselves. Though I'm not sure they realise why everyone's laughing... at them.
