Following last night’s consultation with orthopaedic consultant now booked for shoulder op on 23rd. He’s not sure whether the muscle is too far gone to successfully repair. Apparently when it’s 50% deterioration you can’t fix it, mines somewhere between 25% and 50% according to the scan. However worse case is that the joint gets cleaned out. So now mulling what do I need to do before the 23rd as I could be wearing a sling for 6 weeks.

I think it might be try and get as fit as possible before then.

My first ever 10 was in the same region is it's any comfort. Though I was 18 and it was in nineteen eleventy twelve.

To answer the question in the thread title, the end of a short dry spell. Gopping here and the chances of a decent ride over the long weekend look slimmer than Arsenals chances of winning a European Cup.

Got a corporate jolly next month down in Malage and am tacking on the weekend as a mate lives down there. Better buy some suncream.

I missed the 15mile hilly one last, it goes up one of our local stiff hills just after the start, gets you warmed up I suppose!
