Just been for a bimble up to Knutsford and back to have a look at Meccanica cycles. The proprietor Colin took this pic for his twitter.
First time I've really ridden the bike tbh. I was utterly amazed. Just.... Astounding.

A club mate has one of these in the black/white scheme, pictures do not do them justice, the paintwork is amazing, I do like these bikes in bigger sizes, they just look better!
I like the small touches like the green cable ends and the bits of red on the saddle, hubs etc. Bikes like these are not bikes you see very often but when you do it is a pleasant surprise.0 -

Is Meccanica cycles worth a look then? I'm in Knutsford tomorrow, and could make some time for a visit if it's worth it.Red bikes are the fastest.0

Beautiful bike. Having seen this colour scheme in the flesh, photos don't really do it justice. In real life, the Tricolore colours have a 3d depth that make them look like ribbons in the breeze...stunning, just stunning. This looks like a perfect build.0

Why would I need a smaller size if using spacers? If I went smaller I'd have more spacers and a 140 stem. That would look daft.

Having been riding my Ribble winter bike for a few months (which I love!) it was a shock yesterday.
The thing is rapid. So direct! It's like going from a land rover defender to an Ariel atom.
I didn't have a computer in view yesterday and was only out for a short easy ride but set 10 Strava PBs!
It's everything I dreamed it would be and it's much more fun to ride (and nicer to look at) than my Cervelo that it replaced.
