Resistance setting.

Hi new to the forum and new to home training. I have a tacx manual trainer with a 10 position resistance. What position will replicate normal flat road ? Thanks.

    Depends on so many things.

Do you have a Heart Rate Monitor ? See what your average flat road (tail or headwind though) does for your HR and then try and match cadence and gearing inside.

As above many variables but if you don’t have any way of checking HR or Power when I had a ‘dumb trainer’ I used the 5 position resistance at level 2 or 3.
Try this method then move up and down the levels until you get the right feel, a bit basic but it may help.
