I can't believe boxing promoters haven't learnt from the mistakes of the past with mis matched fighters, early round knock outs with paying punters feeling justifiably ripped off with the knock on effect of TV finding more compelling viewing.
Should Fury even be in the ring given his previous mental health issues?
Was it ever so or am I just getting cynical?

It smells of a cash out to me. 3 years out of the game and he’s never going to be the same anyway, plus personally I didn’t rate him much other than being big and awkward. He’ll fight a few soft touches/bums, then a fight with Joshua/Wilder for a big money pension cheque.
Boxing is a business, and these days that seems to mean take the path of least resistance until the money fight comes along.0 -
