I truly hope sky can pull off a minor miracle but either way its going to be an edge of your seat stage. Cant wait0
-
I hope Bertie will try something as well, Sky to drill it from half way and Froome to attack at bottom of final climb, but unlikely to do so I know0
-
Sky moral duty is to attack on the penultimate climb... the classic off the shelf "last 5 Km attack" is not going to yield the 81 seconds Froome needs. Could be a good day...left the forum March 20230

On live very soon indeed0

I've got my fingers crossed for Nairo but would love to see it pan out as you suggest. May the best man win!0 -
Hope this link works

Given their palmares, both of them should be willing to risk blowing completely and losing a podium slot for a chance of the win. Should be another good day.0

Quintana doesn't need to risk blowing, he just needs to follow.0

The gradients on the final climb look better for Froome's style of riding.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

Sky to drill it, Froome to attack early to get rid of Movistar domestiques and leave Quintana on his own into a headwind.
Or more likely, Sky aren't strong enough and Quintana loses very little time.0 -
I think Quintana has problem got Froome covered no matter what but would be great to see fireworks on the final climb.0
-
This stage has been rubbish so far.0
-
100m into the stage and no GC action yet0
-
Movistar have sucked the life out of this stage.
What an incredibly dull race."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Let's be honest, they won't do anything until 2k to go, then Froome will attack, Quintana will know he's got the race won and limit him to 30 seconds gain, if that0

In all probability.
At the moment, as soon as a Sky rider attacks, Movistar stick 4 blokes on the front.
Hardly a surprise."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Oh Bean..0 -
Apparently Kruijswijk has made it into this break. I'd be surprised.0

Puccio dragging Froome, Quintana & Valverde clear0
-
Peloton dragged them back again... only 150+kms to go!!0
-
Looks like it is all coming back together.0
-
It's somewhat unpredictable so far.0
-
It doesn't help that we have Kirby adding to the confusing.
Kennaugh has dropped back..........so of course he appears up front."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
So, after all that animation, we are yet to establish a settled break.
Movistar have chased down and marked out every move All without using up a single domestique.
Of course, this not being July and another team.................."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Nairo only has a couple with him now, wonder if Froome is trying to isolate him0
-
Froome's not got many either0
-
Peloton finally out for a coffee ride.0
-
5 Movis + Quintana, 6 Sky + Froome, 5 Stinkys + Contador, and each has one in the break0
-
Have to be more attacks on the unclassified climb to try and soften up movistar.0
