Lots of crashes early on.
Live now. 78kms to go and the big break has 3'-35""Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

I can't, I think it's Louis Vervaeke.0

Just seeing Ribadesella .... did the Descenso del Sella (kayak race) which finished there a couple of times. Started in Arriondas and went down river into the estuary.... a crazy race. A beautiful area, takes me back to my youth.“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Really hope Gesink can do something here. 55km to go and the break has around 4'20".0
-
No sooner said than break loses 1min in the space of 5km. Might be a stage for a GC showdown at last, as Movistar set the pace at the front of the peloton.0

Why isn't Lady Garden in a break ever? His goal is stage wins FFS.
He's been nowhere near as good since the VW Emissions Crisis.0 -

Presumaby he has chosen the stages to target and we haven't had any of those yet.0 -

I sense a non-event. Thanks Kirby...Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0 -

Kirby must have read your post."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Oh well. Still have the Mirador de la Reina/ Lagos de Corovonga to go before the rest day.0
-
Vervaeke goes long. Rest of the break sits on Gesink's wheel..0
-
No sign of Sky at all in that front group.0
-
Froome plus two sky dropped. Calls in to base. Seems to be a Vuelta thing with him. I expect him to get back.0
-
Having said that the main group is still quite large. Contains the red jersey.0
-
Froome's long season is finally catching up with him, it seems."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

One last Movistar domestique left. He's [insert catchphrase] on the front.0
-
Froome around 30s behind the other GC favs now. At the front of the race, Gesink has caught up with Rolland.0
-
Looks like it, Froome looks knackered.0
-
Gesink catches Rolland at the front. He's a brought a Katusha rider with him0
-
Froome is finished. FINISHED I tell you.Correlation is not causation.0
-
De La Cruz has been dropped. Spirited effort.0
-
Contador stetches his legs. Quintana follows.0
-
Quintana goes and Contador is the only one to react.0
-
Gesink has 6km to go already full race face. Froome doing his best to limit his losses.0
