I did get an email saying that they had listened to the complaints and done something about it but can't see on the route map what the change is

Well, that's good the two middle feed stations are free: Norwell and Wellow for the record

I got the email too. I suspect I will make use of them if I end up doing 140 miles.

Rob - that'll be too long a day in the saddle for me! I'd have to leave home at 6am at the latest to be there on time.

Oh, the signs are up on the A60 advertising the event.

I'm only going to do it if its a nice day. I will have to leave at 6 too, actually probably slightly earlier.

Cut down and laminated my number so I can attach it to my handlebars. No fannying about with clothing layers, pins and potentially messing up a jersey this way.

Did you read in the info pack about the split start times for the 100 mile riders? Looks like the green numbers (us) are set for 7am and others for later

I did yeah, but I'll just set off when I turn up, it's not as if they are going to say you can't do it if you miss your start time  I'll be aiming to get there for 7am though.

What a glorious day today. Warm and sunny with hardly any wind.

Really enjoyed the ride and was genuinely surprised by the well stocked and free feed stations. Also, another highlight was people smiling, chatting and enjoying their rides. Such a contrast to last year. Might even do it again next year.

They were a mad house by the time I got to them! Still there were lots of smiling and very able volunteers everywhere. I didn't partake of any of the food as I was carrying enough myself. I just grabbed some more gels and carried on.

    Write up in commuting chat.
