One to add to my targets.....do more miles on the bike, than I have driven 8)

70 miles so far in the car and bike at zero, but first ride tomorrow and commuting next week should see the bike miles shoot past the car's

Just started cycling in September and loving it so far. Summer in NZ which makes it easier!

    Goals for this year:
    Weight down to 70kg
Complete the 101km Graperide in Blenheim (followed by wine!) http://www.graperide.co.nz/tose/graperide
Complete the 160km Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge http://www.cyclechallenge.com/
Get the hang of clipless pedals! (this should probably be first)
  • Fitness up to where it was before I had the summer moreorless off cycling and the autumn and winter not doing much; and then beyond, obviously...

And lose the weight I gained over Christmas . Gained about 4 pounds in those two weeks and still going up evidently since there's still food left over and I haven't done much cycling this year yet; I had to weigh at the doc's this afternoon and came up at 11 stone. Ouch. ;)
