Having just seen someone on here say to never use the auto-pause feature or smart recording can someone suggest the best settings to have which will ensure maximum accuracy in power data recording?

Thanks

Neil.

I thought zero averaging settings didn't affect the actual recording?
    8. What is "Zero Averaging"?
The LYC has a setting called "Include Zeros" for Power, Speed and Cadence. Garmin calls this "Zero Averaging" instead. This setting deals with how Cadence and Power Averages are displayed on the 310XT (i.e. it does NOT affect how data is recorded - zeros are recorded properly so when you download your ride later you will see them).
