Do Kreitler 2.25s wreck tyres?

Is it safe to use the small Kreitlers with race tubs? Does the extra resistance come at some cost in terms of tyre wear? My Antares rollers are great for a leg spin but rubbish for warming up.

    The resistance has to come from somewhere. I think the tyre wear will increase proportionately to the increase in resistance... however if you're only using them for short periods of time I don't think it's worth worrying about.

    Ive had no problems with kreitler 2.25 and tyre wear, except I had a pair of michelin pro race 3 light tyres on and the tyre would mark up the roller, so dont roll with michelin pro race 3 light tyres!. Apart from them thats the only tyre ive had an issue with. Kreitler 2.25 I have found to be excellent.
