To clip or not to clip, that is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind of men to suffer the dings and contusions of unclipp'd riding, or to bind thy feet against a sea of gnarly singletrack and by these contraptions, ride o'er them with ease. To clip... to slip no more, and by clipping to end the buttache and the thousand natural shocks that ryders are heir to; tis a consummation devoutly to be honed. No clip - to slip perchance to be thrashed most heinously...

Cracker isnt it!
Rode into some barbed wired strung accross the track. Hit the anchors, over the bars, then picked it out of my thighs. After I made sure the bike was free...
Rode into various trees, rocks, people, trams etc etc

Saw a bike get kicked by a horse into an electric fence yesterday (rider not on bike at the time). Shocking experience to untangle the bike. From now on I will avoid going near horses on my bike.

When I was 13, I desided it might be clever to cross my arms over the handlebars. I came off in fantastic fasion, cut most of the skin off my right arm and leg.

Yeah the waiting is a killer! I have not had my first real off yet either. I have had a Knee to Handlebar interface which gave me a limp for a few days and a nasty bruise but I did not properly fall off my bike so it doesn't count. I think I just want to get it out of the way.

lost the front end peddaling flat out in the biggest ring on a nice downhill section wearing my vest(doh!) photo below about ten mins previous to falling off lol

skin healed in a bout a fortnight but im still taking strong painkillers (three weeks ago!!) for my shoulders and cant ride or drive, ive torn my superspinitus ligament and labernam and generally did things a shoulder joints not supposed to do,had a couple of physio sessions and its starting to improve regarding movement but no strength there at all. Not sure how but i managed a somersalt still holding the bike and then threw the bike away on the next rotation pulling my arms away from the sockets lol - thinking twice now about those toe straps too lol
bit that makes me laugh is that i was only goig for a short ride and i decided not to take my phone as there was only one bar of charge left, trashed the back wheel and couldnt move my right arm so ended up walking down the mountain for an hour till i got to anyone lol typical eh

the worst thing so far was when my back break failed coming down the black route at wharncliffe, ended in a few grazes and 2 broken ribs.
