She rides!

The route to my fave local riding spot was under 4 ft of water at the weekend, over the roofs of parked cars!

Definitely get the stickers sorted out though, it's a good frame that deserves to be shown off, might bring a bit more continuity to the bike as a whole too.

The red stuff will stay, it protects the frame, but the rest will go. It could do with being bead blasted and lacquered as close up the frame is dull and scratched. But that aint cheap.

What sort of price you looking at to have that done then?

Get some copter tape to protect the frame

Probably 50 quid or so, plus postage. Something I will look into.

Hey that's not bad if it protects the frame! It'd easily cost that for a powder coating so it's worth it to get it finished nicely.

I would like it in matt black powder, with cream decals, mmm...

Lol, go for gloss black and make it look like a Zaskar in disguise as an Avalanche.

I'll have to get some copter tape for mine, the top tube's scuffed to within an inch of its life! Either copter tape or those things you stick over the cables to stop them bashing the frame where there's no outer.

Ah, little donut thingies, but that tape is good. A good buffing will help too.

They stop the cables runing the frame, but not always effectively!
