Have the 12" single of Resurrection Joe somewhere. Got most of the early Cult stuff up to Electric, including all the Southern Death Cult and Death Cult releases. I was a "bit of a fan" in my yoof but haven't played any of it in years. The more I think about it, the more good tunes of theirs I can remember. Hmmm, time for a vinyl-fest this weekend I think.

Our kid last year went to the states on holiday.

Before he went he had a look online, as he was staying in the Hard Rock Hotel to see if he could book tickets for a concert.

Sent me a text to say he'd got tickets for the Cult.

Heh, my mum is from Liverpool and Dads from Warrington. They used to go round the clubs listening to jazz, blues- apparently even the Beatles before they were famous. Dave Brubeck? was a fave... So I got a wide range of music to listen to from a young age. Definately accounts for a wide choice in music- some of which you may of noticed... From Atari teenage riot, to Howlin' Wolf via Depeche Mode and B.T.O.....

So yes I am a lucky sod in that respect! Long while since I heard any Dr Hook tho' gonna have a root'cause I know I do have an album somewhere.....
