Hehe, get the train! That adds an extra 10 mile or so to the loop, a very hilly 10 mile as well. Why not just ride there fron Newcastle ;-) I'll be up for either.

possibility i'll make it tonight, although there is only 2 of us on today (and the rest of the week) so its only a possibility.

important family night on thurs so can't make that one either.

Yep, Blanchland moor was literally a running stream. Axle deep most places, even deeper in others. Great fun!! [:D]

Yeah, it's a great ride for evenings actually, we cut it a bit shorter than normal last night but you could easily do the full loop before it gets too dark.

They were waterproof until the last puddle which isn't bad considering the amount of water about last night.

Hi Folks, sorry ive not been in touch for a while, couldnt come last night as it was a family members birthday, next week im certain! ;0)

Also, sorry steve, thanks or the invite to the bbQ but friday is the Northen-Rock Leazes-Park Criteriums in newcastle and a couple of my mates are racing, was really good last year so should be even better this year. Might even race myself if the weather is good.

I'm a defo for tomorrow Paul especially now that the C word has been mentioned :-)

As for next week, anyone fancy a loop i know that starts up by the cafe on Waskerly, it's a mix of easy track, singletrack, moorland track, rocky descent and tarmac, probably about 15-20 mile with a couple of hard(ish) climbs thrown in.

Oh and is that 15-20 real miles, or do I need to add the 25% Hoggins factor to it?
