I was under the impression they just used user names, but admit I haven't paid a huge amount of attention to it bar looking over their shoulders occaisionally, especially as our pc is in a big open plan kitchen and I can vaguely see what they are doing. I wouldn't let my children use this forum unsupervised, some of the posts on here are vile and disgusting and whilst I feel that they should not be sheltered from such things, they do need a bit of guidance about how to interpret them, see what is wrong with them and why.

i'm not sure i'd let a kid on the internet unsupervised full-stop.

it's all too easy to end up with some pretty nasty stuff on your screen.

kids should be out playing this time of year anyway, not on a computer. no wonder they're all getting so fat...
