I just wanted to spread a little happiness to all you jolly MTBers and share with you my luuuverly day.
Lie in till about 9 then spent the morning tinkering on my 30 year old Grifter in my garage with an endless supply of cups of tea and biccies. The afternoon was taken care of by servicing and cleaning my lads Kona with him.
Then a fast 10mile blast on my bike, came home covered in mud.
The expression I think is "like a pig in sh*t".
Hope everyone is feeling warm and fuzzy now[:D]

Sounds like a great day all i seem to do now is do revision and go for quick messing around sestions on my bike when i get boraded.

I had a pig in shlt day too [:D], came back coated in mud from
head to foot, my bike was coated in dry mud couldnt even see
the front mech under it

then I got in the shower and noticed by new black
boxers had run and given me a black snake and bum [:I]

Loved it though [:D]

Must admit to being a BIG fan of Lagavulin myself, but its expensive at around the œ40 mark- BUT, well worth it IMO[:D]

Well it's either a proper dram, or some cheap nasty 5hite with Lemonade for the GF[V]. I certainly aint gonna ruin œ40 worth of single malt with lemonade[xx(]

Cant drink the Single Malt or any Scotch, tastes horrible, but thatts just my opinion. Would never say no to a Jack Daniels or most types of Bourbon though. Makers Mark, now there is a Bourbon.

Voddy is just distilled spuds with no taste. Last night's Glenlivet made me sleep like a baby, up bright and early and ready for another tiptop day me thinks.

Vodka can be made from anything... I've seen potatoe, grain, fruit, etc... vodka, and it will always be transparent and taste the same...
Anyways, I can't stand spirits anyway. My body has identified them as something "bad" and I can't swallow it any more...
A good wine, now that is different. I have a couple of Riojas at home that need tasting. I give them two days of life expectancy...

Following on from your happiness, I had a good ride last night too.

Batteries charges, lights mounted as it was overcast and cloudy, then it broke and I only had to flick the switches at 10.07pm.

Night riding is great though.

Then back home to drain a wine box.
