I'm getting old too.... turned 31 a couple of weeks ago. Best birthday pressies ever though, XT shifters and mechs, XM719 rims on XT hubs, Race Face lock-on grips and Easton Havoc bars!!! Well chuffed. Wish I was 32 next week so I could replace my headset, saddle and seatpost

Just started MTBing at Christmas (Halfords Sale).

Can keep up with some youngsters, and most middle aged.

Went to Swinley Forest for the first time today - got bored after 1 1/2 hours because I much prefer real countryside rather than semi urbanised tracks.

This is a good website. There is lots of sound practical knowhow here which has helped me a lot.

LOL - So true, I was at the top of a chute at the end of McMoab on Saturday trying to will myself to go over the edge and as well as completely cr@pping myself I was also thinking "I have to go into work on Monday morning". Wasnt all that long ago I wouldnt have cared less about work - now I need to pay bills[:(]
