Living as we do in gods own country you get used to it apart from those from certain areas of south Yorkshire who really do sound rough as Fcuk.

Well... I was just asking. Thanks all for this. It's good to see teenagers around here... i was about 5 when I got to ride a full-sized adult bike. When I say "ride", I mean I could only pedal in a very awkward position besides the saddle which I couldn't reach. I wasn't the only one (where I grew up in the 70's, there was no such thing as 'bikes for kids' or certain size bikes - just an adult bicycle).

Yes!! I run a firm that needs people to test bikes a gear to inform a wide consumer base. Essentially you would be required to ride for about 4-5 hours a day, 3 days a week, in between times, we have an informal discussion area where you will talk to other testers about the equipment you tested. The other 2 days a week will involve going out to manufacturers and suppliers to evaluate and select which equipment to bring back in-house for testing.
You will also be required to keep up to date with developments in the MTB world so you will be required to go to most of the major festivals and shows in this country and abroad, therefore you must be prepared to travel, usually to the USA. Does this sound like it might be of interest?
If not, maybe my condom and high-class hooker company might be of more interest. Let me know either way.
