Admin1, will their be a change of forum software?

Possibly a move to vbulletin perhaps? Or at least a forum software that included a PM application?

As much as I'm against the merging, I can see the benfeits, and things have to progress.

What would you rather have, a single large well maintained (and hopefully well featured!) amalgamated forum, or none?

But if I happen to lose my username, I won't be a happy bunny!

They've already said that there will be mag specific areas, but also some integrated areas and to be honest until I actually see the format I'm open to the change. There are areas that cross over and for all I know we might be able to get ideas or even find new things that we enjoy through the merger. As long as everyone is considerate of each other in the crossed over parts of the forums there won't be a problem. We are all here for the same thing after all... to talk about the fact we love riding bikes

This is what worries me the most. Given that on this forum we see Fozz as a bit of a saddo lonely nob, and therfore think we can take the piss for it. From what I can gather these same charactersitics make him a God over on MBUK. This clash of ideals may lead to a MTB schism.
