Looking good, agreed, thats if we don't loan them out.

Just add an out & out striker and thats that, no defenders need, with the attacking options we have/will have, doesn't matter how many we concede, we'll score more

Well, Scott Parker is pretty much a done deal (although he initially refused tyo join while Reo Coker is still at the club), and Barton is keen to join. Strong midfield for us.

An offer has been made for Bent and he has yet to make up his mind. Talks with Tevez are starting, but to be honest that'll be little more than a pipe dream. We also have a fair few millions still in the kitty - hopefully a decent left back will be on the cards. We also need cover in the centre of defence for when Ferdinand goes to prison.

So much better and more exciting than a few years ago when we were signing the likes of Gary Charles and his drink problem, Titi Camara and his forged passport and over sized arse, Davor Suker at the end of his career and being forced to replay cup games because the two bob manager couldn't be bothered check whether Manni Omminimyi was cup tied.

Last time I looked the "mighty irons" were in the premiership, and I couls have sworn that was a staying up party we were having at Old Traffors a couple of weeks ago.

Must have been mistaken (unless Capt Jon doesn't know who the irons are?)...
