    My resting heart rate is around 75bpm...but I'm certainly not so fit as I could be. For me it seems quite high as I've got down to 44bpm in the dim and distant past. I am older now of course.

    Many years ago when Miguel Indurain was racing I seem to remember one of the TDF C4 presenter's saying that his resting HR was 28!!! amazing!

    While having a look at this thread I also had a look on Wiki about the topic. It seems quite a good source of info
