Nice Bike Capt,

I took one of these out today on a demo ride absolutely superb, you've made a cracking choice (I might make the same one... still considering a SC).

edit: bit about forks removed, read your comments on flickr photo.

What rims do you have on it, were these standard on your bike? They look different from the ones on the spec list (and the bike I demo'd today, the WTB Speed Disc AM; I've heard a discouragement review about them already! :S)

Yeah, the spec list says WTB something-or-others, but my bike arrived with Sun Black Eye rims, which I must confess I have never even heard of!!!!

When I demo'd the other day I was shocked when I realised it was lighter than my hardtail!!! [xx(]

I ended up making the same choice... mine arrived today! (same upgrades as well I think as advised by the shop, I only really wanted a different headset and the RLCs).

Weight wise the 20" frame with pedals (shimano M545) dips in at just 30lbs - lighter than my hard tail - and with bigger tyres!
