The reason for the layback post is that at 6'1", I felt I'd be at the upper limit of the 18" frame, reach-wise, so wanted to extend the c0ckpit without having to go up to a 20" bike with taller standover etc.
Have only ridden the bike once in anger, round Glentress red, and I love it. Have ridden hardtails for 16 years and the 5 is just something else. [8D]

Every time I ride mine I seem to get more & more confidence & speed on the downhill sections of any trails.

It just leaves you grinning from ear to ear like a loony at the end of a ride [:D][}:)][8D]

Who cares what it looks like when it does the job perfectly.
