    you pass when your good enough to pass, so if everyone took their test when they were ready then everyone would pass first time!??! failing your test doesn't make you a better or worse driver.

    I had a friend who passed his test 1st time.
    He crashed into a stone gatepost within 3 months and it cost him £1500 to fix the car.
    2 months after that he crashed into a landrover freelander (his was a 106) coming towards him. He was doing 75mph ish and the Landrover 60mph ish.
    Cue Massive injuries/internal bleeding and death.

    Silly silly boy.
