I ordered a lid on 17th May, got a reply saying it was out of stock and due on 30th May. On 1st June checked again and was told it was still out of stock and would be in on 15th June. Emailed Monday but got no reply. Phoned Tuesday but got no answer. Finally got email reply on Tuesday afternoon to be told the item was in stock and would be dispatched. Have sent more email and been phoning since yesterday as it hasn't arrived and normally their stuff arrives next day, on the order status the item is still showing as out of stock!

I still haven't got through either or had a reply to my email!

Sorry to rant but the service has really gone downhill!

My Saints were next day from CRC no problem there, it was taking the money that was the problem, for some reason it came through in 2 peices a œ68 and a 41.99 peice.

Could just be my bank being wa<s></s>nkers though.

I bought a helmet off CyclesUK because CRC didn't have it. It came next day with free delivery.

Yeah, the helmet that I sent back to Madison via recorded delivery for crash replacement, the helment that Royal Mail subsequently lost, the helmet that at most I'm only going to get œ35 compensation for because that's all it's insured for with Recorded delivery...

I've finally got through to CRC who've still not been able to give me a delivery date but have confirmed they're out of stock until at least the middle of July! I've cancelled the order and will get something different but not with them.
I used to rave about them being so good and efficient but I'm really disappointed with them this time around and doubt I'll be using them for a while!

Yikes! I used to use CRC quite regularly but after the posts I've read here, I think I'll source my tyres elsewhere. Merlin Cycles have always come up trumps.

i've only had one bad order from them to be honest, and that was 4 years ago.

Merlin Cycles are just the best but they don't always seem to have the best stock.

I would use my LBS more often if they wern't so bloody expensive.

I've used crc for everything on my bike except the forks, chain guide, frame and front brake. Also had from them in the last few months armour, goggles and 2 camelbacks.
Everything has arrived as and when it should.
Only issue was i ordered a brake adaptor from them which said it'd be out of stock until June8th, when on june 9th it hadn't been dispached I sent them an email and it arrived on my doorstep on the 10th. So no real issue there.

The last (and first to be fair) fook up I got from CRC were my brakes. I ordered El Caminos and was sent El Camino trails, honest mistake so I sent them back for replacements. The replacements arrived within about 2(ish) days, front brake was correct but the rear was a Trail, again!
I rang them up and confirmed I could use thier fast-track return thing and to put a note for the picker to take the brakes to Trev (who I spoke to) to make sure they were the right ones.
So yeh, they did fook up badly but I had no problems with returns/refunds or getting through to Customer Service, who were helpful.
Though this was about 2 months ago, so I can't comment on the current service.

Top Tip: When buying brake caliper adapters, if you order the same thing from 4 different shops, it seems you get one which is correct. The other 3....

Well, if anyone wants a post to IS rear 203, post to post front 203 or is to post front 203 shimano mount, i'd be the man to email.
