Ive been looking at the TREK SESSION 77 it looks mint, but the price is a bit high.

does anyone know of a 5-6'' travel full sus slopestyle bike like the TREK but for around œ1000.

I'm going to answer your question.

For œ1000 you won't get a complete build full sus that can take "slopestyle" style riding.

Frame only there are a few.

Well my dad takes me to whistler every month so.
My dad said he will put my budget up to œ1250 so what do you think about the TREK SESSION 7.

2007 24Seven Messiah, out next month, œ1200 IIRC so a little over budget. They have a nice spec though & slopestyle specific.

No at the moment my dad has been taking me and i've been riding my old tired SARACEN IKON it's ok but now im really starting to get into it.

I aint a spoiled hucker or a lier its just my nan lives there now and we go to visit her.

Ok so there are no slopestyle specific parks in the UK atm but many bike parks here are starting to incorparate small freeride sections. Also slopstyle bikes are very good for many types of riding such as dj, north shore, freeride and trail riding so it is'nt hard to see why they are so popular. Still I can't see someone riding the slopestyle in whistler on a saracen ikon every month. Your repair bill must be huge.

Only 5-6 Inch full sus that's anything near slopestyle capable for a grand is a coiler. And no you don't go to whistler every month, and if you do then skip 2 months and you'll have nigh on 3 grand for a bike...

if you do go to whistler every month - buy an ex hire bike, like a stab garbanzo primo,
you can get some with great specs like dee maxxes, 888rc forks and dhx 5 rear shocks ect for a lot less, like œ800 when you convert the œ to CAD

Technically, "Slopestyle" is a type of riding now, not that i agree with it. But i guess it is more of a competetion for "Freeride" (although, "FreeRide" is actually what "all-mountain" is today). TBH, it wont be worth you buying one here (if you are telling the Truth), and taking it over there every month as it will add money to the already hurendous flight costs
