IF a child has been gone for, over a month now?
Would you rather said child be dead or alive?
Personally, i would rather them be dead, only becuase, in that sense, the suffering has ended.

Why do you (and others)care about the suffering of one person, yet are ignorant to the constant suffering of people around the world. People go missing all the time, get raped all the time, die all the time. Why make such a big deal about just one of these cases?

Bad shit is always going to happen, there will lways going to be some twisted fuck out there to screw someone over, at the end of the day its really only going to affect you if you know then. Sounds bad but is true that's ultimatly why it's ok to laugh at jokes. It won't save anyone not laughing.

a large minority is still a minority for the record :-)

But how don't generally sample an entire population, you sample a small number of people from different backgrounds (like here, MTB's excluded) and multiply those results up.

I'd guess the majority probably don't make super bad taste jokes, but go to most pubs most evennigs, and a lot of people do.
