    ah just thought, it'll be a bit of a mission at GCSE 'cus you have to do everything by hand. would be much quicker/easier if the health and safety man would let you use a bandsaw.

    im making the body neck and head and then buying the electrics bridge keys etc
    the h&s man does let me use a bandsaw etc

    When I was in school most people bought an old guitar and used the neck from that, they still could get full marks, seriously a neck would be a right pain to make and it would be very hard to make it look perfect. Just make the body ive done tech through to a-level and you dont need to make that much to get full marks.
    so if you want maximum marks then dont make the neck! Unless your amazing and i mean really amazing, you couldn't do it as good as a proper one. Concentrate on making the body perfectly.

    really? h+s didnt allow us to use a bandsaw at gcse, A level, or infact at college for the workshop training for my apprenticeship. was tought how to use one by a bloke at work.
