I'm off to spend the next 18 days having untested drugs thrown down my throat.......... Hopefully!!
There is a chance I'll be sent home at the end of the day and/or tomorrow, but fingers crossed I don't!

I might also have to buy some socks on the way because I don't think I actually have 18 days worth of underwear! Oh well.

Hopefully I'll be able to get online once I'm in the clinic but incase I can't, and should the worst happen.

Oh and I expect this to be on the top page on Weds 20th when I come out

Nah only a 15 minute walk!
I'm "1st Stand by" apparently, I was the 2nd, but one guy didn't turn up, which is why I'm fairly sure I don't stand much of a chance tbh. Ho hum never mind I guess. There's two other guys behind me in the queue, pretty annoyed tbh!!

Well I'm still here [:D]
Turns out that they needed all four of us standbys after all! w00p w00p!!

So far today.... I've had a canula stuck in my arm, but instead of putting it nicely on my forearm, the dipsh<s></s>it put it right on the inside of my elbow! So I'm typing with one hand as I can't bend my other arm!! We were also given 1 litre plastic cartoons to pee in which was quite funny. They look like the cartoons you buy fruit squash in bulk in!

They've taken about 6 blood samples already today and they're going to keep going until they have 11!

There won't be any silly!!

Oh yeah, almost forgot, one possible side effect is short term blurred vision, so we had an eye exam yesterday, which involved taking photos.... of our retinas!

They give you these drops to dilate your pupils, which blur your vision, then they hold your eye open and shine a stupidly bright light in them whilst they take some snaps!! None of us could see properly all evening!
