I’ve a few systems around the house… stereo hifi in living room with a streamer source as well as CD/SACD and vinyl. Multi channel in TV room for movies etc, also does well with music. Apple Home Pods in office, and guest accommodation downstairs, and another 5.1 channel system in the shed.
I started down the burn CDs to a disk system years ago, but gave up after a few hundred. Almost never play them now, all streamed. I’ll probably rationalize the gear too some day if/when we move to a smaller house, but no need here.

I've got 2 systems with big old Tannoy speakers and Arcam amps and stream music from a hard drive with Yamaha musiccast boxes. Sounds great!

Maybe I should upgrade my amp, getting up to adjust the volume is getting to be a pain in the aris'. Being 35 years old it's done well, still works a treat so I'm reluctant to change it.

now have four remote ways to do it :) two physical ones (as they include one with each speaker) plus the app on the phone and the app on the mac
amp is integrated into the speakers
aside from convenience/performance, just got tired of the clutter (their pic not mine)

I adjust the volume using the app on the phone that controls Musiccast, just leave the amps set at a reasonable level.

😀. Interesting they chose a Dieter Rams book as the identifiable accent piece in that photo. And the table the Phantom is sitting on looks broken…

i think the table is just a weird asymmetric design, i'm surprised at having the visible power cable in shot, usually advertising pics hide the realities
