I promised a pick of yesterday's shenanigans so here goes. The only rise I thought I'd get.

Ahh the Viking. 24 bottles of beer and a bottle of brandy before each match to steady the nerves. Surprisingly no longer with us.

I did enjoy! And yes, dressed up a bit (but not as enthusiastically as some). It's difficult to explain just how out of place one feels without being in fancy dress at the darts. I normally run a mile from such things but you'd be more self conscious without it there.
We had table seats right at the front pretty much in line with the board - my mate did a cracking job getting those tickets!

The guy from Bahamas did well, Sweeting. Seem to enjoy himself on the big stage.

He looked really really nervy to begin with but certainly won the crowd over playing some great darts - the game where he threw 2 x treble twenties and, despite wanting to go elsewhere to leave himself with a "conventional" double to finish, gave in to the crowd and threw the last to make 180. They loved him - I hope he's back next year and greeted with great enthusiasm.
