Bora quite sneaky here I think ...the podium battle will have them sitting on the wheels for the next week

Well that's him in red, and the rest have 2.5km still to ride.

Did the chasing group get caught?

And that's a stage win in all three GTs for O'Connor.

Frigo holds on for a well-deserved second place 4:33 down (he was only 1:30 down when he crashed).

    Time bonuses eaten up

Third place rider didn't realise there was agroup coming up, tries to sprint and gets overtaken on the line by Lipowitz.

Kirby still unable to judge how long it takes to get from a certain point to the finish, jersey group at 6:30ish

4:51 according to PCS. That's a lot to give to a rider who was fourth in the Giro.

Yes, I thought he was 1:59 down yesterday, when he was actually 1:56. It's insanity they didn't even properly chase him.

He will have to think way out of his, sprint the last 300 metres, box to do that.

Impossible to know how much that ride took out of O'Connor, but that looked a lot like his '21 TDF form to me.

What were Red Bull, UAE, Visma etc. thinking off today? Seems crazy to let someone like Ben O'Conner take that big a lead. They're all going to have to work really hard to gradually reel him in.

Sure he's liable to have a very bad day, but you can't rely on that happening.
