Training apps
I’m looking for the best training app I’d like it to be adaptive, integrate with garmin and ideally to include strength training. Trainer Road seems good but I don’t think it includes strength training? Pillar not sure & Xert maybe a good option?? Thanks

I'm a TR devotee.
Perhaps the Wahoo offering is what you're after, not used it myself.

rather than aiming for a do it all app it may be better to understand your goals with the strength training. Is it to improve your on bike performance or are you aiming to increase your maximal loading for another sport, strength training is a broad church.
personally I’d opt for TrainerRoad as it simply works and there’s a form which has a great community of users willing to share information and informed advice.
TrainerRoad has AI which is pretty much negated the need for ramp tests because it’s so accurate. If you simply want to get faster, it’s a great platform for supporting that goal.

The AI ftp calculation is fabulous for those of us who either hate them (ftp tests), or don't always perform realistically in them (me).
Think of it as coursework versus exams.

Why not try My Whoosh as its looks pretty good and it's free.

Use the free trial periods to test them all and decide for yourself.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0
